Ok i think this is alittle outregous, but i might be wrong. I usually do all my own work though i have an extended warranty on my ls. I went to the dealer ship because my airbag light was on and my a/c compresser seems to be making a noise. ALso my traction control light came on and stade on. It went off the next time i cranked the car. So they are going to charge my warrnty company 127.00 to diagnoiss and individual item. So that is 375 to figure out what is wrong. Is this high or am i just not with the times?????

Dealerships are always high in my book.

I bought a warranty with my Mark VIII when I purchaced it last year just incase I ran into troubles on it's journey home. A few months later just after the warranty was about to run out my 1 2 accumulator (typical issue with a Mark VIII) needed to be repalce. I could do this myself but I thought heck I have this warranty and it covers the transmission. The warranty company said they would cover the problem but that they wanted the whole tranny to be pulled so they could send an adjuster to make sure nothing esle was wrong. This turned a $200 issue into an $800 issue that wouldn't be covered unless they found something else wrong with the tranny. the accumulator can be replace by just dropping the pan of the tranny. They would have covered the replacement of the accumulator but I would have gotten stuck with the removal of the tranny.
