Hi all.
Been working slowly on my Mark, Just put new rotors and brakes all around, I had a ball joint fail on the driver front, fixed that, now the car steers funny.

If you turn a right corner, when straighten out it pulls right, if you turn a left corner and straighten out it pulls left. You can get it to track straight if you quickly steer the other way its pulling.

sound like anything you know?

Thanks
Jeff

Did you pull the arm and replace it in order to replace the ball joint? The lower arms are adjustable, you need an alignment every time you pull it off the car. It's also possible that if you did pull it you didn't tighten the lower control arm -- to frame bolt enough. That will allow the arm to slide all over the place and it's terrifying.

Also, if you had a ball joint let go, you may have damaged the rack internals. Have them check the rack while you are there.

Caster is off, needs an alignment.

Hmm shop says that my lower control arm bushings are causing it. I am going to pull the tires and get the crow bar out. lol

Well,
Pulled both tires and tried to move things around with a crow bar, doesn't seem anything in moving, I was able to get a half a turn tighter on that bar that goes from the control arm to the frame.
