when i turn my car at a low rate of speed it sounds like there is a squeak coming from the right front of the car. could it be a ball joint? i went to the dealership with a ball joint notice and they said my car had no recalls based on the VIN. also, passenger rear window wont roll down is that a the regulator?

On the first issue........don't know for sure without hearing it. I would lift the front end of the car up and see if you have vertical travel in the wheel.......its so then it is ball joints. On the second issue, it is your regulator.

hey, i do not know if other years previous or aft were affected, but i own a 03 ls and mine was doing a lot of squeaking when i would turn even at a complete stop, so i took it in to the dealership ( still under warranty) showed them the problem and they found out it was the rack and pinion that was bad, so they replaced it and now my ride is easy again. however if you do not have warranty still and it is the rack and pinion that is the problem you are looking at like 960$ job for parts and service. also note according to lincoln this has only affected a certain # of cars not enough to put out a recall notice...
