On my 2006 LS, I have a squeak coming from my steering wheel column (sounds like "wind" blowing through a crack in a window). Happens when I turn right or left. Doesn't start until I turn the wheel 10 to 15 degrees in either direction. Can anyone suggest where I should start looking in the steering column to locate and fix my problem?

Probably. You can also try spraying some spray grease on the two u-joints (between the firewall and the rack, under the hood), and/or on the shaft where it goes into the rack.
I know it sounds like it is coming from the column under the dash, but it probably is from the rack.
