I need a new steering column for my 1998 Lincoln mark viii lsc. I severely need any help and advice and knowledge on the matter of getting mine fixed or replaced.

Other than looking at your local junkyards like Pick n Pull or U-Pull It, your best bet would be to look online like ebay or car-part.com for the steering column. I remember there being talk that the column was interchangable with another one of Ford's vehicles, maybe Continental, but can't say for sure.

steering wheel telescopic function stuck

Hi My tilt/telescopic wheel has always worked flawlessly. My M8 has been sitting for a bit as I source an ABS pump. now the tilt works fine but it doesn't move out. One of my Marks has this same issue but it was never too big a deal for me to fix. Although, it is also the one with Air Bag Code 32 - Clock Spring.

I've attached several PDFs of the Steering Column section from the Mark VIII CD Workshop Manual. I merged them together to upload as 1 file but it was too big.
