ok gentlemen i have an interesting one for you

today on my way to work i was listening to some music, as usual... long story short, the stereo decided to mute itself. turning it up via the nob worked but it muted itself randomly throughout the trip. if i got it to stay on for a few seconds and used the steering wheel controls to change anything... mute.

now on my way home from work it happened once, but then stayed on for the duration.

thoughts, comments, suggestions always appreciated.

I am sure you've considered this but I will mention it anyway. My wife complained a while back that the radio would change stations and mute on its own. It would never do that when I drive. One day I was riding in the passanger seat and noticed that she was touching the tuner buttons on the steering wheel without realizing it.
