Stossel's report wasn't particularly informative but given the amount of time he had to present the big picture it's understandable. What is particularly noteworthy in my opinion, is that the so-called "consensus" list of 2500 scientists that purportedly puts to rest the debate over CO2 global warming, contains names of any number of individuals that aren't scientists. And some on the list may not even want to be on the list, while others lend their name to the consensus for political purposes. While I'm sure there are scientists on the list that believe humans are responsible for global warming, when all is tallied who knows how many on the list are scientists with knowledge of the issues and believe the things in Al Gore's movie. Thus, in my opinion, the credibility of the "consensus" list is in question.
