Straight pipe my 2005 LS V8

I know alot of you have already went with a straight pipe. Anyone have a step by step? What if I dont have a welder? Any help would be appreciated.

Cut factory mufflers off as close as possible, cut off "resonator bushings?" Use 2 1/4 butt joint band clamp and universal hanger with piece of pipe and tip of your choice...profit
