I sensor lowered my car last spring. The left side always seemd to be a bit lower than the right side, in the front. I figured that I had just compressed the sensor on the left more than the right, and didn't worry too much because I was going to get a Module 8 for the next summer.

Winter has come, and I have put my car back to stock height. However, the left front is STILL noticeable lower than the right - maybe about an inch. I turned off the air suspension and drove for a couple of days, and neither side leaked air - so I am confused. Is it an air bag problem? A sensor problem? Or did I not put them back properly when I put them back to stock? Any ideas?

Both sides still raise and lower when I drive / turn off the car.

the thing i can't understand is this - if my front left airbag had a leak, then wouldn't it completely deflate over time?

yeapers - somtimes within hours. If bad ebought an the air comp can't inflate within 90 secounds the Check Air message pops up.

Fronts each have their own sensor - where the rear has one, so I would figure out of adjustment, or bad sensor (kinda doubt).

Just my 2 cents.

it could very well be the sensor - i had that sensor fall off once and it could have been damaged while it was dragging.
but i will check the adjustment / mounting position first.

mine was and is the same also. passager side was always a little higher .
I redid the it all over more than once still came out same..... passager side higher then driver side

maybe has to do with thier is always someone in driver side or car ??

could be - glad to see I am not alone. I wouldn't mind it so much if I didn't notice it while I was driving, and couldn't see it so much when I was parked. Maybe I have just become obsessed with it.

i had the same prob but with the rear which was really confusing due to the rear only having one sensor, check the vent solonoids on the air bags, if you are capable lift the front and swap the solonoids from right to left (they are all the same on gen2 but i dont know on gen1)jujst be sure to "vent" it first, with the front supported remove the little metal lock clip and then rotate it to the first lock and it will vent (kinda like a old style radiaror cap) after its depresurized push it up and rotate to the second lock and remove just swap the right and the left and see if the prob follows if so the solonoid is bad
