So I made the mistake and didn't think this the whole way through.

What is the easiest way to address this, I can't believe there isn't a wire harness made for this.

I want to use the factory amp and really not want to run new wires back to the front of the car. I am not an electric genius, but has anyone got anything on a description with pics?

Thanks

If you really wanted help, you would post what year you have and which factory sound option you had.

exactly, it helps to know which one of the three OEM amps you are trying to use? or which combination of them you have.

if your are talking about the THX system, there is a huge reason there is not a harness for this that you can buy, mostly because it is not worth the R&D to design and produce the harness for the 17 people that would buy it and use it.

if you are talking about either of the other two amps, of course there is a harness for it, its the same harness used for ever other ford (non JBL) with a factory sub from almost the last two decades.

I am not doing anything with the video so for audio only this is basically saying:

Cut all speaker wires from the 2253d and connect them to the corresponding on my kenwood harness?

Then also the amplify and subwoofer enable to the Kenwood enable with 2.2k resistors?

What do I do with the Subwoofer + and Negative to keep the rear deck functioning?

I have all the powered connections up and running

Thank you

No. I didn't cut any speaker wires. I didn't touch anything between the amps and the speakers. I cut/spliced the line-level pre-amp wires from the factory headunit to the factory amps.
