everytime I go into reverse I get a squeal like my brakes are bad, but I'm not applying them. Only in reverse, forward not a noise! I took off one of the wheels and really didn't see anything unusual. Btw, I have cross drilled rotors. Any clue on what I should check? I was starting to think that the hub was loose and slightly moving out but its snug. Or maybe a large amount of brake dust?

Mine does it too with the cross drilled and slotted rotors, but only if I just washed my car or it rained, could that be your problem? is there sprinklers or rain or anything getting them wet?

It just started doing it a couple of months ago. I've driven with them throught the rain without a problem

The noise is the brake pads vibrateing. There is a special grease made for the backing plates (disc brake grease). Put some one and that should solve the real problem. Just remember a little dab will do ya . Put it under the shims on the back of the pads. if you have more than one shim put it on all of them. DO Not put on the arera where the pad touches the caliper. that would be a very bad thing.

really? interesting! I actually bought the calipers as a 13" kit and the pads were already installed. Actually, I was looking at them, and I have no idea how to get the pads off! They're not like normal pads where the slip in with a metal bracket on each end to apply pressure.
