Ok So I got my headlights today and pulled them apart...Added my strobes...And Now I want to add the controler to the car and I cant find a place yet ...Im looking at the place where the cabin filter is but I would need to pull the filter out and leave it out .... does anyone see anything major with this??? other than the air not being as fresh is the anything to worry about....I was going to grab some kinda little filter to keep lots of dirty from getting it there but other than that OK right>>>>>
 
how did u put ur strobes in. u got pics. i was thinking of doing this last night but i couldnt find my old strobes. i was gonna put them behind the chrome bezel so u couldnt see them until they were on. and have them hooked up the the alarm. would that kill my battery?
 
No it would not kill the battery Strobes use almost no power its just like leds they take no power I will snap a picture now I have to finish mounted the controler but everything else is done BRB

Yeah these are the same thing that the local police are using but they are using the 60 watt these are the 90!!!! LOL gotta one up them !!!! So I am going to wire them up and Ill post some videos of it later guys

I have a set in my fogs, I mounted the controler on the inside fender, the spot where the air filter is. on that side there is about a 6-8" spot and I mounted mine with 3M tape. then ran the wires to my switch right next to the trunk gas door buttons, looks very clean and when I open my hood ppl always ask what those black boxs are for.....

Oh yeah another quick note...you should get some of the titanium finished corner bulbs it reflects a purplish blue color when they aren't on I think it looks sweet, check out my garage for pics, they are amber colored when on, so no problems with the cops
 
just bought them LOL I went to pep boys and got them the SILVERSTAR... I cant get a picture of the strobes! they are to fast the camera will not pick them up or the Video camera either....WTF
well see my controler is about 16x6x5 its a big f**Ker so I mounted it under the cowl and its all gravy!!! I need to find a high speed camera!!
 
What is the purpose or reasoning for having strobes ?
 
how much did u get your for. what color are they? where did u get them. and what did u hold them in with, silicon....
 
^^^^ Ok they are clear they are 159.99 with a 90 watt power supply and 4 heads and 15ft lines (TOOO LLLOOONNNGGG)I bought them off of ebay I say get the smaller power supply!!

On my camera I have a setting for three quick shots at once, it works on mine you should check and see if you have a setting on yours like that.

I put my strobes on just to show off that's why I put them in the fogs, And I didn't really want to drill more holes in my headlights, but that thoery is out the window since the Projector retofit...lol
 
I dont see how it cant be captured on video. Maybe not video from a digital camera which is low quality, but normal video should be able to capture a strobe.
 
Im going to post them tomorrow or late tonight They are so fast that the tape on my sony camera looks like 1 flashed every 1.5 to 2 seconds.....the digital camera gets crazy...shows a flashing light scrolling the screen (up and down) with it showing a solid flash in the lights (only one lights up) every 2-3 seconds.... LOL its so funny Im showing everyone the camera and they are like what????
 
ok I got a high speed camera It snapped all of these pic in about 2 seconds..... So That tells you something..... let me know what you think...

where can u get some decent strobes for cheap. they look good. if u scroll real fast up and down you can c em flash :)
