so i got my new diff in last week and tonight i threw it in the vise and pulled the cover. i went on the sellers word who went on the previous owners word that it was indeed a tracloc with 4:30's. i got this for $250 shipped and i am pleased to say that it is indeed what they said it was so i am happy. now to put her in!!!! its super clean inside and everything seems to be meshing perfectly, no uneven wear marks on the pinion or the ring gear, going from fun to rocket ship is gonna be sweet!!! :q:q:q:qty gas mileage here i come.

The gas mileage won't be quite as bad as you fear. If you had stock gears now you relly would cry, but going from 3:73's to 4:30's won't be bad. Enjoy!
