I hear John Bolton may run. He's got my vote.
I like him and tend to agree with his analysis but I haven't really heard him speak of issues related to the constitution or federal government.
And I'd rather see Rand Paul run than Ron Paul.
Since when did British citizenship ever dissuade you from voting for a President.
I guess I could start a write - in campaign for him... seems to work extremely well against hand picked tea party candidates

What 'office' are you talking about? He's been a Congressman for 20+ years.
I doubt a Trump campaign could ever generate any traction or broad support as Perot did. Trump is a notorious self-promoting, egotist, blowhard. Perot was viewed quite differently.
Ultimately, Perot ran a bizarre campaign, for example, dropping out of the race shortly before the election and the way it mishandled his hastily chosen VP candidate, the hero James Stockdale, causing him to win just enough votes to cause Bill Clinton to win the Presidency with a minority of the vote.
As mentioned, he's been in congress for decades now.
But, he is too old for that job.
And I don't think he's really sophisticated enough to navigate through the media. His son, however, is.
...but he IS a Republican and he DID win the Senate seat.
The establishment of the GOP needs to be replaced with citizens like Paul and other "tea party" type candidates who put principle and the constitution above party and established power.

..Every single election, Trump feins interest in running for the Presidency. Donald Trump is in the business of generating publicity for himself. Other than that, he's a rather unspectacular businessman. He inherited his wealth and speculates on property. In recent years, he's been selling his "name" to people who want it associated with their buildings or projects. Not to mention his silly NBC show.
He shouldn't be taken seriously.
