Check with Lidio at Alternative auto, he tuned my Lincoln and is a Vortech dealer.
Here is a pic before the power pipe and aluminum intake tube

It's a lot easier to supercharge a gen 2 97-98 Mark VIII but you can still do it to a Gen 1. You will need a Vortech or Procharger kit made for the 96-98 Cobra, you will need a Cobra intake manifold to make the kit fit easier. Some modification will be needed to make it fit under the stock hood as well.

There's always alot more money involved than what a kit or supercharger alone will cost.. .

Consider a rebuild first befor you install a sc, you will end up paying for one in the long run anyways, just get it over and done with. At 150k a rebuild or a crate motor should come befor the sc, and dont forget the tranny. Just do the bolt-on thing for now and pick the parts that you use with sc in the future.

Ahhhh,

Put the blower on....Keep the psi below 6 psi. Enjoy 310-330 rwhp or so and enjoy the crap out of it until it dies.

I would do a "free" j-mod to the tranny though.

All the rest can wait like gears in the rear end, etc. Help the tranny out with the j-mod and enjoy the one-tire-fire show.

Seriously. Enjoy!
