After pulling out the instrument cluster, I noticed a grey socket was missing from where the bulb for the ATS light was supposed to be. So I pulled the cruise control bulb and put it into the ATS socket. After connecting the battery and starting the car, the light won't stop flashing. I replaced the wheel sensors, two new oem rear calipers (front ones were replaced last year with oem also). Where else should I start looking?

And, yes I did do some research and replaced common parts that were prone to failure according to the forums.

Do you have traction control or do you have AdvanceTrac?

If AdvanceTrac, it could be the YAW sensor, the steering angle sensor, that it needs calibration, or that someone swapped in the wrong ABS module.

Where is the abs module located and how can I be sure if its the right abs module? The button next to the shifter panel says ATS, I assume advancetrac.

ive never seen letters, my first gen had the spinning tire (traction control) and my 2nd gen has a car leaving a sweet burn out lol or a car sliding out of control (advancetrac)

it will also tell you which system you have because it will tell you what system it is shutting down when you press the button (if you have a message center)

Not too sure if the buttons differs on gen 1 and gen 2, but the button on mine says ATS, I have the 2000 v6 so no message center here (curse you lincoln/ford).

well i guess i dont remember it saying anything. its been a while and i know they are a little different. i do know it didn't say ATS, so you must have it, mine was just standard traction control.
