The wife and I just found out yesterday that we are having another baby girl. We have a 4 year old girl already. Wife is due early January. Due to medical reasons with my wife. The doctor will probably let us pick the date for a C-section. I am thinking December for the tax write off.

The wife and I have started looking for another "babysride". Since the LS is going full blown show this winter. I am thinking a '06 LS v8 maybe.

Congratulations on the child.
And best wishes to your wife for what she'll be going through!

Congrats good excuse for a new car... Hmmmm Damn to old for kids... And my wife better not surprise me... I've been shooting blanks for a lot of years...

kids..

I say "NO" to a second LS. You'll just have double the repairs. Instead do what I did. Get a Navigator. Be sure to get one with the captain's chairs in the middle row. You take the center console between those 2 seats out. More later on what to do with the console. It will leave an opening in your carpet but an extra floor mat will cover it. What you end up with is an aisle to the back row. My 5 y/o and 2 y/o can enter the vehicle and walk to the back row and buckle up. The older one does the buckling for both. The 2 captains chairs in the middle hold the baby car seats. No need to ever have to unbuckle a baby car seat so that you can flip the car's seat forward to access the third row. Man, I just love taking family outings because it is so convenient to load up the kids. I know you only have 2 right now, but you know... sex happens. As far as what to with the center console? Get handy and make your LS into a 2+2 by fabricating some brackets and cutting down the console to that it sits in the middle of the back seat. I saw that in one of the newer Mercedes-Benz.

We already have an SUV/Durango. We did trade it in for a Navigator last year. BUT we had problems with the vehicle and the dealer the first week. We had it towed back to the dealer and got our Durango back. Besides the wife wants something that will be better on gas. I am taking the Durango. The new car will be for her. As for repairs, I must be lucky. Other then the usual valve cover leak(factory repaired for free). I haven't had any problems with the LS. Oh....Wait a minute. The factory Alpine headunit died on me. Had the dealer install a new one under warranty. We have been VERY happy with our LS. So we are considering another.

Haaa Haaa Haaa! Usually with the news of an expected birth I find most the time someone's making an excuse to get rid of something, congratulations on both the birth and on turning this paradigm around!
