I want to replace the rear and hopefully the front sway bar bushing but can't seem to find poly ones like I would like to get. Is it best to get a moog or duralast or lincoln one for my 97 continental or would a universal one be ok. I notice the universal ones tend not to hold the bar as far away for the frame as the oem rubber ones do. I was just worried that maybe this may cause damage to the endlinks since it would be at a different angle.

I got the rear ones so far, since all I found for the rear was 25.mm or 1" bushing called for. The front however has a 19, 20.5 or 24 mm bars. I didn't have a measuring tape to check the front bar. However what dictates what size you get. I have a 97 with the adjustable(semi-active) suspension is there a certain size that should have or?

Max at 5 star would know the spec if you ask him in his vendor section of the forum. If I recall correctly Taurus SHO sways should work but don't quote me:p

Everysite I check showed multiple sizes for front and only one for rear (25.mm) however when the shop went to put it on and used their meter they found the rear is 19.38 and 19.58 for the front. I ended up putting new ford ones on the rear since the old ones were removed. Though I think I'll return the 25mm energysystems poly ones for 19's for the front.

Well I have the energy systems ones in and the car seems to corner alot better but would it be worth it to replace the new ford rear bushings(rubber) with poly ones from energy systems?
