There are other good brands out there but I've been using Liqui Moly Synthetic in my other DD car for a while now. I am seeing at least 2-3 mpg highway improvement with Scarlet.
My Marks have been using Castrol* motor oil since I've owned them. I finally ditched Castrol* since I'm not too fond of its new owners anyway.
The main reason for the change is that it has worked to my satisfaction with my other car and Liqui Moly has special additives designed for extended oil change intervals.

Originally wanted to do an oil filter relocation mod but decided to go this route instead and just pay someone else for the trouble; not to mention the mess that I would have to clean up.
