hey guys and girls im want to sell my system i have two solobaric L5's (the square ones) im asking 200 for the both of them there is nothing wrong i just want to go louder!!! believe me these are loud if you want them to be just i cant hear them anymore( i hit 147.9) on a week mic everyone said it was about 3-4db off so they are loud.... n e ways let me know if your interested

Are they 12's and what ohms are they? Are these the grey ones ore the chrome and could I see a picture if possible?
 
this sounds like a pretty good deal, depending on what shape the speaker is in.. I know the new l5 currently comes in 2 different models.. dual 4 ohms and dual 2 ohms

Stereo people, what would you all recommend for a 98LSC as far as speaker replacements?

I was thinking those high end Infinitis... I can't remember if they are the Refference or the Kappas...

Any other suggestions?

its all about diamond audio mids and highs for any system!!
as for those solo's...are you selling it with box amps or what?
what kind of amps did you have pushing it
i find it hard to believe you hit 147...
i hit 153 with 4 12"s in a cut through....but well see

I jst bought an AVIC-D1, and will be putting it in this weekend if all goes well.

That is an impressive (yet mostly greek) list of speakers and components. All I want is nice crisp highs, and nice lows. I don't want to rattle any windows with my lows, or break them with the highs, for that matter.

I would most likely add an amp/sub later on.

I hit 152.2 tthree times but was consistent at 147 with 2 12's in the ls.. This was my old set up..

ok sorry guy for the lack of info These are the older ones(black with red center) yes i broke them in very very slow I worked my a$$ off for these so when i got them i wanted them to last I have the dual 2 ohms and im running the kicker 1200.1kx Im not really looking to get rid of the amp i have a crappy box it was free for me and can be free for you I will take some pics know and send them to you.... As far as what i hit i had these in a box that took up the entire truck 15 inchs tall and 44 inches long and 33 inches wide....with a massive port that feed into the cab.... these speakers have only been running at half of there power becuz my amp is a 1 ohm and im running them as a two ohm... I never go them hot never over bassed them ( i love them and treated them like gold) im gonna take some pics now brb...

Yet another hijack. :waving:

I have a Alpine 7998. Only used for 2 week have the box and all the paper work including the remote. This is the headunit for all you audiophiles. Complete controll over your entire system. Let me know if anyone is intrested.

I hate to bring up other cars than the LS, but I work at a VW/Audi/Mazda/Mercedes Benz dealership and one of the best systems I have heard out of the factory is the system they put in the Audis. They use the Bose system and it rocks. Sure, you won't get the body thumping base that a couple 12" can give you, but you can turn that system up and it is crystal clear to the max..........makes me wish I could have that system in my car.

my moms old car had it and i wasnt impressed*she had a 99 stang* i have a set of infinity's and i love them they are loud and clear!!! LOUD AND CLEAR!!! i love when i pull up next to someone and they think they have highs I have the loudest Mids and Highs around here (everyone i heard mine beats umm out ) im running a 6.5 compent set with NB.1's tweeters also and i have them hooked up to a keenwood amp pushing them at about 100-125 rms so its loud..
