Can't seem to get anything right!!

Almost two years ago I had a throttle position sensor go out on my LS; They sent me the wrong part; corrected the mistake, but the slow order processing, slow shipping and having to do it twice had my car out of commission for almost two months!

This summer I ordered new gas tank straps for my F-150; they sent me a front strap that was WAY too small... E-mailed them a while back and they didn't bother to get back with me.

Now, I just got the box that was supposed to contain my wiper transmission and motor for my LS... They no longer had any of the transmission/motor combo part number... so they sent me JUST a motor!! What the hell?!?!? I could have ordered JUST the motor if that's all I needed!! I need the damn wiper transmission!!!! I just called and left a message; we'll see if they call back.

I'm afraid this will be my last order from Team Ford... and I'd advise anyone else needing parts to get with Maxx at Five Star Ford; I've never worked with him, but there's no way on earth it could be worse than Team Ford!

Not to pry, that does suck but I have been reading about some big changes going on at Team Ford.

I hope things work out for you one way or another man!

Max' service is awesome! One time i got sent a wrong part and he over - nighted the correct part at no cost to me. The only reason i still own my Mark VIII is because of the great service from both Max and Jamie97lsc.

Yeah, it looks like Maxx is going to have my business from now on; the problems I've had with team ford are just rediculious. Every order I've placed they've messed up.

I always go with Max, not only does he provide great customer service but the prices are always cheap IMO. once he sent me the wrong ball joint and he over-nighted the right part and sent a box w/ paid shipping for me to ship the wrong part back. He really goes out of the way for each customer which is why i deal with him exclusively.

Multiple, identical posts, merged. Please dont post the same thing in several forums. Just once will do.

Sorry Joey... I was trying to make sure everyone got to see it

I was scammed too, was sent the wrong part, sent it back, they claimed to never have received it even when I have delivered proof and a signature that they did get it back and signed for it.

^ Now thats cold!^

I take it they can get all the same parts?

I have been wanting to get a few stupid little things I need like the interior door handle surround thingy.

Yeah... don't make the mistake I and others have made... Call Max!

I left two messages today with the online parts department and Bill Jenkin's (one of the managers)... Heard nothing back.

I have never had one thing go wrong when dealing with Bill Jenkins, and the other Bill, at Team Ford. They even did some research for my F-150. Its a '96, and requires a special harmonic balancer, that Ford in their finite wisdom, discontinued.
Bill found it, and got it shipped direct from, probably, the only supplier in the country that had it.
If you got better service from Maxx at Five Star, than I have recieved from Team Ford, I would be surprised!
In this economy, any company that wants to grow, and thrive, will be constantly changing, and improving...if this is the case, I'm sure it is just a hic-up.

Well, I talked to Pat, I believe the parts department manager... He's working on fixing this for me. No one called back yesterday or this morning, not the Internet sales department, not even Bill Jenkins (and he's the one that got me the right part when the TPS sensor went bad and they sent me the wrong one).

Pat said he "doesn't know what's wrong with the guys over in the Internet sales department; every one's been trying to get them to return phone calls and e-mails, but they just don't seem to care". So yeah... that really promotes their net sales side of the house really well.

I also paid for next day air; well that's good and dandy, but it took about 8 days for them to SHIP the part... sure, it got here the day after they shipped it, but lets be realistic... 8 days to ship an order?!?! What good does next day air do me when they wait over a week to send the stuff out?

Anyway, he's having my wiper transmission/linkage assembly sent out emergency shipping along with another gas tank strap for my F-150.

I never had a problem with team ford but I don't go ther any more I go to a local dealer and get a better discount there
It is nice to see the part before you pay for it

Everyone,

I have read your posts and complaints. To let everyone know I have moved up to a different position here at Team Ford. I basically have to manage and look after the Internet Operations at Team Ford including the BDC/Internet sales dept, Internet Parts dept., and I also have to work on the sales tower desking new/used car deals. I now work 60+ hours a week and I am trying to keep everything together.

I plan on making some changes soon to the online parts ordering and shipping.

I agree that the service has taken a dip since I moved into the new position (July 2008). But things will change. This is when you could clone yourself sometimes. I took pride in and enjoyed my job doing the whole parts thing for you guys, but like anyone else, I am not going to turn down a new position with more money and benefits.

Thanks for listening to me, and I will improve the business for you guys.
