I saw a couple marks there, and had the pleasure of seeing a cammed gen2 on the dyno at livernois' booth. Heres a pic of it...

The red car put down 280 and im not sure who it is. I dont think hes a member on this site though..
 
280 with cams, what a joke, prolly just went with some sort of an OEM cam. (cobra)
 
Mr. Wilson, do you know how much a stock Mark VIII puts down at the wheels? If you did you would know that 280 is very impressive...

yeah, thats with stock heads, headers, and intake manfold.

If it had cobra cams, I wouldnt consider it cammed. When I call a car "cammed" I mean its got fat cams.

yea, round 255-60. thats not realy impressive....its just more than stock...impressive would be 350rwhp, im sure that some more time dialing in the cams would net a bigger gain for him, all depending on the profile that is.

Try around 240 if your lucky

Emphasis on "lucky". :)

Mine was 252 to the wheels before the headers were installed. Most stock/lightly-modded will be in the 230s, low end 225, lucky to hit 240. Some select few(highly-modded) Mark VIIIs will be in the 260-270s naturally aspirated.
 
wouldnt 280rwhp, make that like 330~ at the flywheel or something :confused: ........not bad for just changing cams if you ask me..........id be heaven with 280rwhp, lol........
 
That's probably ~340 at the flywheel. Not bad, depending on what else was done.

Nothing I'd do to a daily driver, the low end torque is already bad enough...

Hes got a 3k stall and gear to take care of that.
