Not trying to change the subject, but do you have any plans on making a front bumper for a Gen 1?

Gen 1 Bumper

We have no plans to make a Gen 1 bumper due to the poor sales of the Gen 2 bumper. Until sales make it worth while there will be no Gen 1 bumper. There is just too much time and money to make these parts that everyone wants then nobody buys. Sorry.

If I had a gen 2. I would be all over this. I dont think anyone on this forum has a clue to what any new STOCK bumper cost! I have been in the auto repair business for 25 years. And I can tell you, this is a steal at $600 for a custom bumper. I think everyone on this forum is to broke or cheap to purchase something like this. Everyone will spend a ton of $ on the little changes. But nothing on the ones that will make there car stand out from the rest. IN MY OPINION!! I know I will catch a lot of S**T for this comment. But it is my opinion.

I would like to add a couple cents...

I just got back form the paint shop where the bumper and some other front end pieces are being painted. I talked in depth to one of the owners/painters about the quality and workmanship of this bumper since he has seen his share of "Aftermarket" bumpers and Areo kits. They deal in high end stuff (Authorized Bentley & VW paint shop) and I have seen their work first hand and it is perfection. He told me that they normally charge a 3-4 hr fee to fix "issues" prior to paint on aftermarket bumpers and that my bumper did not require any re-work. He also said that the price is very reasonable since most of the aftermarket bumpers he sees cost more, are flimsy and not even close to the quality of this piece.

just saying,

-Scott

On a side note... I saw this sweet 850 they are doing a re-paint on, had to share.

Agreed, i've seen lots of aftermarket parts working in auto parts / cars the last 10 years and the temple bumper is a quality piece. Looks like it'll fit like a glove, too.

Now your getting to see this market for what it is, 0 sales, lol. This market SUCKS. I have sold 3 Wings in 3 years and 4 hoods in 3 years. I sold 177 Mustang Cobra Hoods on the flip side in 3 years.

Terminator Bumper

We have now sold 10 bumpers so it is picking up. I have to consider the state of the economy and with that in mind I am encouraged with this many sales with the bumper only being in production for less than a month.
Another aspect of this is I have my own production facility and when I build a part for myself it still takes the same amount of time to build the part for 1 as it does a 100.
Typically if I design and build it for myself then I will offer it to everyone.

John
