The black strip below the windows

Is that hard to replace...I have a 00 and all of them are fading really bad. anyone know how much it would cost to replace these. I hope you all know what I am talking about. It is a strip maybe a half inch wide the runs the length of the four windows on each door.

Dealership quoted around 80 bucks to restrip it. Worth it I think, maybe a local shop could do it for less.

Mine looked bad too on my 01.
I tried mothers black and looks a lot better.

they are not hard to replace. Front doors if memory serves you have to pop the mirrors off to make it easier.

other wise they are just pressed into place, you pull them right off, there may be one bolt holding them from the underside on the inside part of the door, either all the way at the front or all the way at the back.
