I love her, but she is holding us back...

Its a 2002 LSE 61K Silver.

What should I ask for her?

Its just a car right?

With 61K, I'd guess in the vicinity of 14-16K (based upon what I've been seeing them for). It's too bad you aren't closer to NY, since I am in the market for an LSE, and finally convinced my wife that silver is an option I should consider.

maybe through a dealer but as a private seller you wont be able to get that much. check KKK.com. ive been thinking of getting mine but i cant think of another car that is ALMOST a comparison to the ls. any ideas on antoher car for around 12-13k, that has most of the options as the ls and gets good gas and is reliable. would take an SUV, im 6 5 so suv would be nice. im planning on getting a house soon so i need a lower payment and something thats more reliable.

What are you thinking of getting?

KKK.com? Is that some new lynch mob website? How about www.kbb.com? :N

My LS is doing the same to me, won't enable me to branch out lol. Be nice to throw 500 away on a nice apartment instead on a car. Good luck and I'd say 12-15K is the area. Start sort of high so there is room to haggle.

Same here, my 2000 V6 LS 71xxx "may" be for sale soon. I thought maybe I could get into something new and better gas milage. I have already put another $1xxx into it last year alone. Not sure, but with some of the deals going on with the "green" cars, I might stumble across something as nice.

you couldn't get a shed here for that price...

it's costs about $650 to get a skeezy ass room in a house with a bunch of other people here in New Brunswick NJ.
Eamonn

well it cost this much here in stl. WTF does it matter what it cost to get an apt. here in STL u can get a nice, and i mean nice 2 bedroom for 650 here, if u want pics than just request and give me a day and ill show. this thread wasnt started for people to start saying "you couldnt get that for this here." No one gives a fcuk what we could get there. we dont live there. so if your reply doesnt have to do with the main thread than what good are u doing the LS community

Hey Ken sorry about that i was watching tv at the time and i was this thing on white power and the KKK. sorry about that

I hate to sell her, but my wife is going to graduate school and she has to cut her hours at work.

We are going to get my wife an older Accord, and I'm gonna go back to driving my old car. (Grand Prix)

good luck...while my car was in the shop i was using either my moms 2005 Accord of my dads 2001 F-150 and i could not get comfortable in either. The LS is just too nice

I just bought my 2002 LSE with 32K miles and I paid 17K which includes titles and licenenes

for 500 i'll rent u my bathroom for an hour..

cost of living here in miami is about 1200 a month for a 2 bed 1 bath.. in a mediocre neighborhood..

back to the car.. 16 will be the price that u should get.. from 14-16 depending on how u have kept the engine, body, and interior.. i cant really see if u have immaculate paint or not..

Thats why peeps from Florida are moving up here to S. Carolina ;) Sunny, Beautiful, and cheaper cost of living :D

ya.. lots of ppl joined the army and never came back.. its too much money.. everything is too much damn money...

but i know most ppl go to georgia and alabama

The 500 a month for a nice apartment is an expression but I have looked a few nice ones for close to 6, not including extras like cable and what not. I just said that cause I'd rather be throughing money away a nice place than an ok car.

Good luck man on selling it. What year GP? My g/fs parents have an '03 or so GT and its a pretty nice car, never driven it but have road in it a few times and its not bad.

The way I read his post is he is the car is costing him 500 a month and he would like to free that capital up to add to his housing expense....not what he was going to spend for housing totally. Please correct me if I'm wrong...or if it even matters.

Sorry to hear you have to sell the car, but you are making a VERY wise investment in your future. Smart choice and good luck!
