I told you guys about my car a while ago. Lots of problems, slowly making progress :). 1993 White Mark8. Well I just got some pics of it.
I put a new window in it (passenger side window broke), and new brakes.
Starting to see the fruit of my labor, but much work to do.

You can see in this picture how the bumper is loose. I'm not sure what do about it. Maybe you guys have some suggestions? Also theres some small dents in the fender, do you think I would need a completley new one?

and in this picture I dont know why underneath my front end it looks like this, i took a pic of this to see if its normal. Is it supposed to look like that? I havent seen this on any other mark8s

I know theres still much work to do, but the point is I'm starting to make progress. Any suggestions or comments would help alot thank EVERYONE for taking a look at these pictures and offering their help. Bye

There is a member on these forums named Doc. I never talked to this person, but I saw his mark8, its like the before version of mine lol. Before it went through hell. Well when I'm done I really want mine to look like his, its like comparing beauty to the beast. Sorry if you don't want me to use your cars image Doc. I just really liked it. I will take it down if you want. Anyway heres my dream mark

take the front bumper cover off and you can pretty much fix it. The sides look like the rivits that hold the cover to brackett broke.

Atrain, clearly you have a way to go. By far, everything I see can be fixed. The fender, I would replace. Don't even bother trying to fix it. You need to get yourself to a local bone yard and start harvesting parts. When the front bumper starts to sag on the bottom like yours is doing, I would go ahead and replace it. Front bumpers and rear bumper are plentiful here in Houston, If you need one, drop me a PM.

I'm heading to the boneyard tommorow.
Do you think its worth it to fix it up? do you think it is possible?
or will it be too much money and work

Thats a big question . " Do you think it's worth fixin?
Are you very good at fixin things . Do you have a few extra dollors?
How many milles are on it and how clean is the interior?
I agree with the other men !!
Are you in Michigan How is the under carrage ?

I know thats kind of a stupid question "Is it worth fixing?"
Just, when it comes to cars. I'm not the best guy.
With this Lincoln I'm trying to learn and try to make it a project
The Interior is beautiful. Nice black leather, looks new everyone
compliments it. The exterior is just a little rough :-/.
Miles is about 110,000 give or take a few.

Few extra bucks? I have $1,000 saved up
but I don't want to use it all on the mark8 right now.
I'd like to fix it up gradually, but first I wanna fix the big stuff
I already put a new window in and now I just gotta fix the bumper
and the fender and then tart taking care of little things here and there.

Yes I'm in Michigan btw. Do you know where Warren Woods Tower is?
thats where i just graduated from.

Sounds like it's worth fixin.
A bone yard down here might have a fender But it's silver. I saw the passenger side last week. I would try and find the same color parts to save you the trouble of painting.
I know the cross roads more than anything. I lived in Madison heights Troy Berkley, Royal Oak and now Lincoln Park:eek:

The major things that need to be fixed

front bumper
fender
door handle

how much do you think a front bumper and a fender would cost me
at a boneyard?

I'm not sure about the prices they vary a lot. Check my Photo garage for some pictures of the front taken apart.
I have an extra bumper but its black and needs to be sanded down .
