This thread will be used to update dyno numbers as we do bolt ons to my 1997 Mark VIII. Today the car went on the dyno bone stock with 80k Kooks headers, full duals, and a tune are some of the mods to be done.

It made 210 hp WOO HOO!!

sick run with your stang, what was that guy in the other lane doing? a road test? That body twist off the line was insane.

So you started a thread about your dyno numbers... and then didn't post them?

yea I noticed that last night, but thought he might be uploading the dyno sheet.. so I didn't bust his ball too much.

But.."this morning".. no dyno sheet?

*firm kick square in the nuts for the n00b*

Finally!! Don't ask me why but I think I had a virus which seems to be fixed now. The car made 210 hp and no idea why I forgot to post that other than the boy was tuggin on me to fight with him and wouldn't stop until I threw him in an arm bar. Thanks to KustomizingKid for relaying my pm(for some reason that worked). Waiting for the guy at the shop to forward the dyno sheet if any of you care to see what a pathetic display of hp it made. I will go edit the top thread and put 210 there for anybody else that logs in to see it. You guys are brutal by the way:confused:

210 is right in the middle of the road
4r70w+irs=lots of parasitic loss

a tune would go a long way in releasing the beast from within

definatley post the dyno sheet.

did they get an AF trace on the sheet too?
you'd probably be suprised at how pig rich they drift in the upper RPMS

also if they dyno'd in second instead of third the numbers are inflated about 7%

Who the hell dyno's in second?

stupid t00ners that dont know how to lock the 4R70w into third gear via the tune.. or people who are too SKURRRED to make a 140MPH dyno pull...that's who.

definatley post the dyno sheet, because there is "far more to the story" other than just a stupid "peak number".

Peak HP numbers are for "bench racers" and are generally meaningless to the entire equation.

Hopefully you got a AF trace with your dyno pull otherwise you got a pretty worthless peice of paper with about 60% of the info needed.

Even if he did get AFR trace it is semi useless as if it was a tail pipe WB it would be after the cats...

Who cares about Hp what are the Torque numbers?!

Gotta get back to ya waiting for dyno sheet to arrive via email. We really didn't care to weld a bung in to get a/f and the sniffer in the tails is not that accurate. I just wanted a base hp/tq. Whatever the tq is, I'm sure it will be very little..
