Jusst how many have died from an Asteriod impact?

A little rough and quck math - (its 6 am, dont expect it to be exactly on the mark) For even the 1 in 500,000 to be accurate, would mean 600 american citizens a year have to die from an asteriod impact annually. (there are almost 300 million Americans I believe)

The odds are not an annual number, but over a lifetime. In other words, using your number of 600 Americans, that would be 600 deaths over a period of 70 years or so. That's still about 10 a year, though. And I certainly haven't heard of anyone dying of an asteroid impact.

I think the asteroid impact is also taking into account severity. If an asteroid would hit earth, we're all fuked.

Actually the chances of an Asteroid striking the earth are impossible...those are called meteorites...and about 500 of those strike our planet per year...albeit they're small and mostly impact in the ocean.

What they take in account is the past history of the earth. There have been some asteroid impacts. Usually causing major changes in the earth.

According to recent articles I've read there are a few asteroids which pose a threat to earth but none immediate. We have a lot of time before this may happen.

A real neat article I read in which some astronomers believe that there is a red dwarf star that is a companion of our sun orbiting our sun about 1 light year away. The theory is that this red dwarf star affect the orbit of comets and asteroids and changes their paths in space causing this objects to change and then collide into planets. This red dwarf star has not been found yet. But I thought it was a very interesting theory.
