Well I hate to say it but I have never tore deep into an eight. I have taken off door panels and I have Basic knowledge of cars [I've been a mechanic for 12 years now]. But I have never had a chance to work on many eights. I am sure the wood in the center console just pops out. And I Understand dropping the tank to get at the driveshaft and it will have to come out to get the motor and tranny out.
What my main concerns are the little tricks. Like the k-member and the suspension. And just the little things you guys can tell me that will make my life easier in the process.
I have a big ass cherry picker and plan on picking the front of the car up like Laser did [your threads have been very helpful btw]. And I have enough tools to shake a stick and an extension with a 10mm swivel socket at.
Just wondering cause I have never attacked a car like this and want to do it fast since I don't have a garage and the neighbors don't want to see it forever. Although their cool cause I fix their :q:q:q:q on a regular basis. And they have all been advised on what this car is for and are very understandig.
