thinking about getting a tat

so my parents recently got back from the Netherlands on a "business" trip. My mom over the past few years has been doing research into where in the Netherlands our family came from. Any who she was doing some snooping around in the Netherlands and found this family crest dating back to 1720. and with that being said I was thinking about getting that tattooed on my arm. Not sure how they would do the gold part? If any one could identify those birds that would help me out too

my family crest dates back to england around the mid 1600's i have it on my left leg i added my 2 kids names to it. i thought the family crest was a perfect tat when i had it done.

I think it's cool to get your family crest but don't do it because people on the interwebs like it. Do it because you like it. If you change your mind you are pretty much stuck.
