And all you guys whine about Bush creating a partisan divide. The wacko nut jobs in your Party that you embrace are the real evil, the real dividers, the real atheists, the real homophobes, the real racists. And this guy represents most of those classes all by himself. And you wonder why Bush won't meet with haters like this. What a joke.

2006 WorldNetDaily.com

Civil rights activist and NAACP Chairman Julian Bond delivered a blistering partisan speech at Fayetteville State University in North Carolina last night, equating the Republican Party with the Nazi Party and characterizing Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and her predecessor, Colin Powell, as "tokens."

"The Republican Party would have the American flag and the swastika flying side by side," he charged.

Calling President Bush a liar, Bond told the audience at the historically black institution that this White House's lies are more serious than the lies of his predecessor's because Clinton's lies didn't kill people.

"We now find ourselves refighting old battles we thought we had already won," he said. "We have to fight discrimination whenever it raises its ugly head."

He referred to former Attorney General John Ashcroft as J. Edgar Ashcroft. He compared Bush's judicial nominees to the Taliban.

The talk so infuriated at least one black family in attendance among the 900 in the auditorium that they got up in walked out in protest.

"He went on and on name calling," said Lee Wilson. "I walked out in the middle of his speech with my wife and three kids"

The harsh partisan rhetoric from Bond should not have surprised anyone who has followed him in recent years.

In July 2001, Bond said, "[Bush] has selected nominees from the Taliban wing of American politics, appeased the wretched appetites of the extreme right wing, and chosen Cabinet officials whose devotion to the Confederacy is nearly canine in its uncritical affection."

Julian Bond is one of the most divisive people. Here's some material from the NAACP website:

Mission Statement

The mission of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is to ensure the political, educational, social and economic equality of rights of all persons and to eliminate racial hatred and racial discrimination.

Vision Statement

The vision of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is to ensure a society in which all individuals have equal rights and there is no racial hatred or racial discrimination.

Now, does anyone really think that Bond's statements advance the NAACP vision or mission? In light of his present and past statements, that organization should have its tax-exempt status revoked.

"There you go again."

Typical knee-jerk response from the right. Trying to equate one person's statements in a speech w/ the whole of the NAACP, then stretching to the entire Democratic party. You guys are so predicitable.

NO, Bond's statements do NOT advance the NAACP. However, instead of punishing the whole organization (which has a valid and sensible mission / vision), why don't you propose just removing this one whacko from his chairman position??

because just like unions, the NAACP uses its influence over its members as weight in the political world. I won't say they are a puppet of the dems, but they certainly don't try to help out the repubs at all. It's not just Bond, but much of the leadership of that organization that is corrupt. Not to mention the fact that organizations like that do nothing to further the decline of racial tension in this country because inherently they need racism to survive. Therefore without even looking at the facts one can conclude that they would do nothing to enhance "equality" in our country. Then you look at the facts after this, and you realize what an f'ed up organization it is.

Of course you can, because he just happens to be "Civil rights activist and NAACP Chairman Julian Bond". He is the mouth piece of the NAACP. He dictates thier course and structure and writes policy that the organization as a whole is supposed to follow. I seem to remember another person in history who used this type of "we are better than you" Rhetoric to get mobs of peoples fired up. His name was Adolph Hitler. Bond is definately more Hitler like than any of the peoples that he is accusing. There will always be racial divide and prejudice in this country because od people like Julian Bond. He and people like him do not want unity because then they would have no cause to fight for. They need this type of racial discord in thier pathetic lives, because without them, they would just be another face in the crowd. With people like Bond, and Conye West, and some of the other more vocal people of color continuing this message of hatred and racial discord, we will never have racial harmany in this country. Bill Cosby seem to be one of the few peoples of color who actually get's it. When he makes statements that people of color should take responsibility for thier own actions and stop blaming white people for all of thier problems, they turn on him too. I guess that it is better to sell crack to kids than to struggle with school and try to make something of yourself. I am tired of the I can't get a job because I am black rhetoric. You choose to not get a job, because it is just soo much easier to collect welfare or sell drugs. Enough is enough. And please do not go accusing me of being prejudice, because my family is more than likely blacker than Bonds.

That is such a typical cop-out response, and it shows that you have no real belief that your Weenie leaders should take responsibility for their actions. Somebody look up how much money the NAACP donated to the DNC over the last 10 years, and then we'll see just how beholden the Dem party is.

Your Weenie leaders tried to equate CAP as a whole (and Alito in particular) with a few fringe members. Are you going to say they were wrong to do that?

What about what the Weenies have done with Rove and Libby? You all want to throw out the entire government and impeach the President just because a couple of people in their organization are under scrutiny. Yet you never said a word about Mike Espy et al.

Talk about hypocritical guilt by association.

HA HA HA HA HA!!!!! You are unbelievable!

So explain to me how a P.O.S. like this gets elected to the chairman position and yet he doesn't stand for the group's message? LMAO.

Then explain how the Democrats are not connected when they have their heads stuffed so far up Bond's posterior as to create a second head on his shoulders?

You guys are laughable and ridiculous at the same time.

If ANY CONSERVATIVE or REPUBLICAN had made statements like that, you Lefties would be calling for a lynching. Where is the outcry from the Left and where are the media reports denouncing this clown and calling for his immediate resignation? Your Party is terminally ill and yet you think you just have a cold.

Democrats are leaving the Party of the oppressors. They may not be going over to the Republicans, but it will have the same effect, more might for the Right!

I LOVE watching the Dems destroy themselves with their own hypocrisy. Great sport.

Bill Clinton Praised by Iran, Arabs

Ex-president Bill Clinton is winning high praise throughout the Arab world for his recent comments condemning anti-Muslim bias and urging dialogue with Hamas - with even Iranian newspapers touting his go-slow approach to that country's nuclear threat.

Citing Clinton's comments as a constructive alternative to President Bush's dire warnings, the state-run Iran News agency reported Thursday:

"Former U.S. President Bill Clinton recently opined that America had done injustice to the Iranian people by overthrowing the democratically elected government of nationalist prime minister Dr. Mohammad Mossadeq through a CIA-orchestrated coup in 1954. Furthermore, Clinton urged the U.S. government to engage Iran and added that the only way to resolve the nuclear dispute is through negotiations."

In the last few weeks, the ex-president has gone out of his way to try to downplay comments from Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad that Israel should be "wiped off the map."

Speaking in Jerusalem in November, Clinton acknowledged that the remark was "outrageous," but he cautioned that the Iranian leader was "not elected because of his hatred for Israel or the West."

"He was elected because of the economic distress of ordinary Iranians, and which he promised to relieve by giving them financial assistance," the ex-president insisted, according to the Jerusalem Post.

Clinton warned Israel not to act unilaterally when reacting to terrorist threats, saying that "true peace and security can only come through principled compromise."

The former president's remarks on Monday at an economic conference in Doha, Qatar are also winning high praise.

Clinton took pains to condemn a series of cartoons appearing in European newspapers that parodied the Islamic prophet Mohammed, calling them "appalling."

"So now what are we going to do? ... Replace the anti-Semitic prejudice with anti-Islamic prejudice?" he told the conference.

On Thursday, Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak warned that the cartoons could provoke terrorist attacks against the West, but according to the Bahrain News Agency, Mubarak "expressed appreciation of the declarations made by former U.S. President, Bill Clinton."

Clinton's recent performance has prompted glowing press in news outlets not known for their friendly posture towards America.

Yesterday, for instance, Qatar's leading English daily newspaper, The Peninsula, devoted an entire story to an interview with a female Egyptian lawyer who had become a virtual Clinton groupie.

"I am in Doha for the first time and it is here that I met Clinton," Dr. Nariman Abdel Kader told the paper. "A photographer was taking pictures of Clinton and I was standing nearby. The president saw me and asked me to come closer and pose along [with him]. I was so excited. I told him I was a lawyer too, and he laughed and shook hands me."

"I have photographs taken with Kofi Annan and the president of Portugal but have never been as excited as I am now after having met Clinton," she gushed, before adding, "We like him. All Arabs like him. But I hate George Bush and all Arabs hate him."

Bill Clinton Praised by Iran, Arabs

Did you actually read what you posted? Which quote or quotes from Bill Clinton make him an enemy of America? Was it this one "...urged the U.S. government to engage Iran and added that the only way to resolve the nuclear dispute is through negotiations"?

Send him over.......

Personally I believe that if the Arabs like slick willy that much we should send him over. Hell, why not send his D!(k hating wife along. They could throw her azz in a hooded robe and force her to obey all of his commands. And if she did not obey, he could get some of the Arabs that love him so much to biotch slap her. Of course the ARABS like him, he did absolutely nothing to stop them from carrying out there terrorist plots the entire time he left his wife run the country.

Yeah, I read that, and you are so blind you didn't even recognize the significance of your own QUOTE. The fact is that for Clinton to say that shows that he is a pacifist, weenie coward more interested in trying to appease the enemy than in trying to defeat the enemy.

His statement UNDERCUTS any possibility of military action by Bush on Iran, can't you see that? It's directed at Bush as though Clinton actually knows what he's talking about. He's a joke. He's the reason we're even in this mess to begin with. No other president has weakened our nation and left us this vulnerable except Clinton.

I am getting sick of all this utter stupidity.

So instead of trying diplomacy first and saving military action as a last resort, you'd rather just shoot first and ask questions later.... Good policy!

Even your hero said.........

"The American people need to know my last choice is the use of military power. It is something that -- it is a decision that -- it's a tough decision to make for any President, because I fully understand the consequences of the decision. And, therefore, we'll use all other means necessary, when we see a threat, to deal with a threat that may materialize, but we'll never take the military off the table."

George W. Bush 2004

Oh, don't worry about Clinton stopping Bush from going into Iran, if Bush really want's to, he'll do it.

Nice job of putting words in my mouth. I NEVER SAID I advocated shooting first before diplomacy. That comes from your own twisted prejudicial viewpoint, projecting incorrect views onto me.

What I said was that Clinton's view is EXTREME on the side of pacifism, advocating AVOIDING the use of force at all costs, no matter what. Why don't we just bow down and say "Allahu Akbar!" while we're at it.

"Good" analysis.

Uh, re-read the article, Clinton did not say the words "...the only way to resolve the nuclear dispute is through negotiations" (which are the words YOU highlighted from Deville's quote). While Deville may have mistakenly implied that Clinton said that, you took it completely out of context. Typical act of desperation.

That's :bsflag: and you know it. UNLESS you admit that Clinton has some kind of power over GW. Has Cheney let Clinton take control of his puppet strings for a while??

Feel free to leave, as I'm probably the only one here who'd miss you. I'll try to get over it.

Nice job of putting words into Clintons mouth then... He never spoke of extreme pacifism; he spoke of using diplomacy, not sure how you see the two as one.

It was a good analysis, Clinton speaks of using diplomacy and you call him a pacifist, weenie coward for it.

He doesn't have any power anymore, but he's still a disrespectful jackass who continually inserts himself into the news while blatantly disregarding all Presidential traditions regarding ex-presidents criticizing sitting Presidents. He's not changed one bit; he still disrespects the office of President as much as he did when he sat in it.

And your misquoting point is well taken, EXCEPT for the fact that his actual words STILL don't leave any room for the use of force, so my point still stands.

You strain at a gnat while swallowing a camel. Totally ineffective.
