hey guys one of your new members still looking for chi-town friends but anyway i changed my sway bar bushings yesterday came out great got mine from autozone and i just wanted 2 post that i looked at some of u guys older post and the passenger side is just as easy as the driver side once u unbolt the dvvc things and if u remove your airtube u can get the down bolt from bottom and top nut from the top:D

The hard part is getting the dccv unbolted. After that it's pretty easy. Autozone???? Are you serious? Were they rubber or poly? I went to Autozone and they didn't have them. I had to order them online. If you got rubber ones which Autozone did you go to?

no they were the poly 1 1/8 but some guys used this part num others used the on the end with 71

Yeah, when I ordered mine I went to Autozone and gave them the part number for them to order for me. You don't pay shipping that way.

i never took my DCCV out to replace the bushings, just the air intake. i was able to get to the front bolts with a ratchet and two 12" extenders and a wobble joint at the end and then just used a regular wrench for the back bolts from the bottom.

I used a combination of an extra set of hands, wobble joint, extensions, and removed the upper mount for the radiator

I have only had my LS for about 3 months now, but how do I know when I need to change these bushings?

now i think my end links are bad because the noise came back but i checked the bushings and its still at 41lbs

If have extra time I would replace the bushings and end links. They're not expensive and you'll have it done.
