When I was in flight school, the number one skill that was taught in the air was stall prevention and recovery. Prevention and Recovery!!! It did not matter if we were 100 feet above ground, we never were to pull back on the yoke. NEVER!!! This is what happens when we let our children play video games on easy mode and use cheat codes. They will never learn the correct procedure. It should be almost instinctive.
To all of my friends and family that may fly in the future, as you board, look at the pilot's shoes. If they are wearing slip-on instead of lace-ups, you might consider taking another flight.
