What would I use to cover the holes that are left when I chop the air resevoir/resonator? How does LMS do it?

what holes are you referring to?

the hole for the reservoir above the intake can be plugged with a plumber's cap.

Fibreglass

I used Fibreglass cloth and resin on mine. Then after it dried, I sanded it and gave it a few coats of High Temp paint. Not that difficult.

Thanks! Also, where did you get the fiberglass cloth and resin?

or you could do like that dude with the stripped 13.4 second mark did, and use electrical tape :)

How do you think my holes are covered that I plumbed my nitrous through?:)

I used a zip saw and cut pieces from the amputated limbs to fit the holes. Then I welded the pieces in place with a HD soldering iron and using shavings from the sawing as filler material. A little filing with a wood rasp then some bondo, sanding and paint.

Hey JP, Souns ghetto but it looks soo good. I might have to get an expirimental tube from the junkyard to practice with.

Fiberglass and body filler, the coating is truck bed liner. Good, and EASY saturday project.

Nothing other than improved apperance of the engine with the covers off, and more intake growl under acceleration.

can't you use a 1.5 inch quick cap??

Yes, you can for the one nearest to the throttle body, not sure about the other one I haven't removed that one yet.
