Your injectors will make a slight ticking sound (mine do). You also have solid lifters which will wear themselves down over time to lessen the noise. I would take a look at your exhaust manifold. Mine makes this ticking sound and it is the exhaust manifold gaskets.mcafferty said:
Since i know what my ticking is coming from, i'm not going to worry about it for awhile. You should know that I am not a mechanic.........though i know some things about cars from working at a dealership for nearly 10 years. I would suggest that you not worry about it too much at this point. If the sound gets worse, then worry about it. But if it is just a ticking, then don't worry about it.
