What kind of spark plugs are the best for a Gen 2 Mark? Fuel filter? What else should be done? How bout some tips guys.

Autolite 764 if engine stock, if chipped Autolite 103's. Copper if you want to change every 20k miles, Platinum's can be changed every 40-50k miles.

The bosh platinum 4 plugs are not very good for the 4.6 engines from what I have heard. I know for a fact they don't run right in a 2.3 turbo engine! I would go with the stock specs or the autolite 764 plugs that others are running. Platinum plugs will last longer though.

My platinum Autolite 103's work just fine... they say copper is a better conducter but it isn't noticible on an NA car... if you were running nitrous or blower that's a different story. But those Bosh Platinum's don't work well on the 4.6 DOHC period...

Ive had my platinum pulgs for over 7 months now and they treating my 4.6 just fine.

Watch out removing the old plugs.

I have not done mine yet, but hear that it is stuipid easy to strip out the threads.

its not that they use platnum as a conductor, its still coper, there are just platinum tips on there to prevent premature fowling, also the autolite double platinum has a small platinum point on both the electrode and the contact, to prevent premature fowling on both ends (also designed to prevent gap erosion). the plugs are the same either way. (if you had a plug that was made with a platinum core, watch out, youll be spending more on one plug than on an engaugement ring.)

GET THOSE DAMN BOSH'S OUT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i had one fall apart and get sucked into the cly on my 4.6 t-bird while doing 75 and i see this happed often at work (currentlly working as a ford tech for the last 7 years) i recommend replacement of all bosh plugs immediately!!!!!!!!
