How was your ride compared to stock? Any issues w/ rubbing? And does it lift car all that much. Not trying to get the whole donk style. Not a fan myself. I have a 02 LS w/ the V8. Im about to buy a set of 20s and then Ill get some pics up. Must say Ive had it 3 weeks and Im in love hands down best car ive ever owned and Ive owned alot. Thanks

Get 18s and lower it for the price your gonna pay for 20's.. also a tune and angel eyes wouldnt hurt.

I can tell you that 20s will feel nothing like stock.. Plus you are going to have to avoid any and every pothole..

I have 20s but haven't installed them yet.. The rubbing depends on your offset.. And how wide they are

putting 20s was the best decision i ever made for this car.. all the handling improved dramatically. now i dont know what everyone here is talking about but to me i didn't notice much on driving shyt if i had to say i think it drives better and more smother than lame a$$ stock wheel... by the way i have 20x8.5 on 245 35 20 tires nexon 3000..the drive is incredible and well worth it...have only scratched twice only because i speed through pot hole :p

I'm itching to put the Sentas on. I'm hoping by mid March I'll have them on.......Damm snow!

Thanks for the replies guys. I looked for a search cause i figure it was here somewhere but wasnt seeing one? I just joined as i made post but have been lurking around a few days....

Im looking at 20x8.5 w/ offset of 38 and the price is just great for a brand new set and its exact style and color that i want... I just dont want to ruin my ride too much cause thats one of my favorite parts of my ls but i want some nice bigger rims. Performance i dont care ive had several sports cars and still have a zx10r for my speed. my car is just comfort for me and the family..

My experience: as long as I keep them aligned and balanced, my 20's ride just as smooth as stock. One good pothole can ruin that and has. I have blasted a few tires that were not far into their life at all on potholes that wouldn't have bothered a stock setup. You do have to drive more carefully, that's a fact. Never had any rubbing or anything. I don't drive for performance either. Cruise control and speed limit all the time.

Here's my experience with 20" rims. I've been running them for almost six years on my car. Like others have said, depending on the offset and width of the rim, and the size tires will determine if you will rub or not. I'm on my second set of rims. On my first set I had them for a little over three years before I sold them to a friend. Didn't have scratch on them except for one rim where I grazed a curb while parking at the mall because I didn't cut my wheel hard enough. I avoid pot holes at all cost even when I had my factory tires on. I run Nitto 555 Extremes on my rims and they are smooth and quiet tires. Also they are wider than most tires in 245/35 . No matter what size tire or rims you are running, the most important thing is to check your air pressure in your tires. As the tires begin to wear, they will start to slowly lose air pressure. So if you don't monitor your air pressure and you hit even the smallest pot hole or bump in the road, you can damage your wheels. Just my five cents.

Enough said, get the 20s and you will love it. Ride doesnt change that much. I wouldnt lower it on the rims cause then you would start to have problems. My 20s didnt make my car sit any visually higher. I think my wheel and tire combo is an 8th of an inch taller than the stock wheel/tire combo.

20s are for a slow(heavy 20's) shiny(just for looks) car. I would love to be at the line with another LS on 20's:shifty:

If 20's are for what you say they are for (and I agree with you) you will never "be at the line" with a LS on 20's so I'm not getting the point here.

To each, their own. I like to think of the LS as a performance vehicle, not a slab. Doesn't make sense to me to make the car work harder, just for looks.

I have 245 35 20 tires on mine (20x8.5). The ride seemed better to me over the stock 16s I had, until I bent one lol. You do have to avoid potholes, but I do that anyway, not tryna catch an impact bubble in my tire. The car seems like it has a stiffer suspension, due to the low profile, and handles way better imo.

The rims I want only come in 18's and 20's and ive been fighting with myself over which to get. I Think im going with the 20's. (for now anyways) From what ive read I think 20's will be sweet.

If you get forged, the weight would be about the same as the stock combo..

I would rather look good than jump off the line faster.. If I NEED to go fast (like at the drag strip), I'll use the stockers with Hoosiers..

Thanks again guys. I ordered my set about an hour ago. Now have to save for some tires so if anyone has any suggestions? saw the nitto 555 remark and will keep in mind. And again not caring so much about the performance to me its just not that kind of car. I love the style and it has a rather impressive sound system and 3 dvds for myself and the kid in back to play games on. just a great car! thanks again

Depends what kind of price range your looking at.. If your a huge spender, I like Michelin.. If your on a budget, Kumho Estca SPTs are the ones I'm looking at for my 20s..

willing to spend about $500-600 for a set figure i can get something decent thats quiet and good wear

I've had 22in rims in my parents garage for 8months now. I planned on putting them on my old shevy but it completely broke down. I now have a Lincoln Ls but dont know if I should put them on. What would you guys suggest.
The measurements are: 265/33 r22 102w
