To those who have a magnaflow exhaust...

with the 3.9L I have a couple questions for you. I have this exhaust on my car and am thinking about removing the resinators. My questions are :

1. Has anyone removed their resinators?
2. If so how much louder is it?
3. If resinators are removed will there be a loss of power?

Oh btw has anyone added tips to a 2000 w/o the cutouts? If so what did you use. Thanks again.

I don't have the V8 but in regards to your question about the tips without cutouts.

I had magna flow tips put on and the shop cut my valance, just the black part not the painted area it looks very clean and I have a steep driveway and have not had any problems rubbing. Check out the thread below
