I am wondering if anybody can tell me how to get the the top bolt on the bell housing off. That one bolt is the only one keeping me from swaping the torque converter.

any help would be awsome,

yeah tell me about it,F%%%$ piece of %%%#%$

i spent hours today removing that, finally got myself behind the trans, put my head right where the front of the driveshaft would be,and could see the drivers side upper bolt, then ran 2 long extensions up to it,cursed a few dozen times as it slipped around, and finally worked it out

only took me aout 3 & 1/2 hours to figure that method out,i was going insane under that car

i was about to clean up and pop on lvc, when i figured it out,

Well I finally got the bolt off and the transmission down, but i ran into another problem i was putting my New TCI torque converter on. My problem is that the bolt radius is different from the my original and it wont work. Is there any way around this or should I send it back and get another set up. any help would be great...again....

thanks,

B.S.

? those were the 2 easiest bolts..
i just went at them from the top.. but then again i had the intake off..

cmon.. it takes 15 minutes to pull the intake.. if you really wanted those bolts out you would find a way.. its not rocket science people.

I'm not saying it is.....I just said, that you had an easier time with them because the intake was off. I prefer the 3 foot extension and swivel to get the bolts out, other people have differeing ways to do it.
