If you have an aftermarket torque converter tell me which one you are running and how you like it. :Beer

the one JP got(Driller) sounds awesome.

also, alan from ABConverters (tccoa-Dirtyd0g) can build you ANY converter you want.

me-I run a Maruder/Mach 1 TC, so it's not aftermarket.

you can do criags swap of the marauder/Mach 1. or you can go performance. EDGE RACING torque converters are good from what i hear.

Precision Industries Stallion - Triple disc lockup - 3500 rpm stall...

3000 Art Carr. I'd rather have an Edge, but I got the AC at a steal price. It definately make the car feel different and needs some getting-used-to, but a worthy upgrade...

Serg...once you find your converter of choice... I know someone who would be MORE than happy to install it for ya!

p.s. get a trans cooler NOW!

My first choice would be a converter from DirtyD0g at TCCoA.
My second choice would be an Edge brand converter, specifically the Street Edge.

I have an Edge converter in my car @3000 stall, and it's great. I wasn't aware of DirtyD0g's converters before I got the Edge brand, but the differences between the two aren't worth me spending more money on another TC.

DirtyD0g's converter or Edge; you'll be satisfied with either one.

Agreed.

A transmission cooler should to be on a stock Mark VIII. On one with an even higher stall torque converter (which will create even more heat), it becomes mandatory.
