What is the torqe spec for tightening the slide pins in the rear calipers?? I can't seem to find it anywhere.
Also, when taking apart the rear calipers and compressing the piston back into the caliper, does anything special need to be done with the e-brake?
I was planning on...
1. leaving the caliper bracket in place and removing the slide pins, thus removing the caliper
2. compressing the piston back into the caliper (as I recall, the piston has to turn clockwise as it's going back in)
3. replace the pads in the bracket
4. grease the slide pins and re-attach the caliper to the bracket (torquing the pins to whatever you guys tell me)
After that's done I was going to replace the rubber brake lines. I guess this could be done first.
Does this look right?
Thanks all.
