For a 1997 Lincoln Mark VIII, are there any torque specifications for tightening the brake bolts on the caliper bracket, caliper and brake hose ?

Use lock tight on the bolts holding the bracket to upright. I always use my 1/2 impact for those 2, the bolts holding the caliper to bracket I just make sure they're snug with a 3/8 drive ratchet.
The banjo bolt holding the hose to caliper is hollow, do not use brute force to tighten this one. Just tight enough so that it doesn't leak brake fluid

What the 97 Mark VIII manual says for all bolts around the front brake area.

Thanks Sapperfire, MarkVIIIedrea and 93mkviii.

I wanted to make sure I didn't over or under tighten the bolts. Getting it right the first time is preferred.

I was planning on using blue medium strength threadlock on the bolts.

So threadlock on the caliper bracket, but not on the caliper ?

I personally don't like thread locker on brake parts. Do you have service manuals? They're really worth having if you own a Mark.

I do and will not put brakes together without "blue". Does not hurt a thing and peace of mind is where its at.

LOL... I must be in left field. I use anti-sieze on the bracket bolts.
