Torrie from Fast Parts Network's Ford GT TT

He was brought in to tune the first Stage6 TT build. Once they we're done - he drove it.... said it 'change his life' and he had to get one.... He bought his off the showfloor and then turned it over to Stage6.

He has it apart now to reconfigure to - the twin-turbos are now feeding the supercharger....

Theres just something about being able to get 1000whp from the turbo setup with a completely stock fuel system. I'd do anything for a GT TT.

He sounds like he knows his stuff. So that GT is now a GT TT-S ?

Is he an ECU genius or something?

Actually there are some other dyno vids on the net somewhere that he gets 1102RWHP. Pretty impressive. Almost unstreetable.

yeah it moves, but the video is bull, the other cars are not on the throttle nearly as hard as the lambo. im sure it is very fast, but that viper is putting out over 800 horse also, thats not a slow viper by any means, and the lambo wouldnt smoke it the way the video portrays.

a lambo is geared for top speed and it has VERY long gearing along with VERY high RPM's

the solid pulls through the gears are perfectly beleivable... espessially because I'm fairly certain that lambo is making around 1200RWHP, just because the video says it's rumored to have over RWHP doesn't mean it's not 400RWHP over that mark lol

remember you are stuffing power through a N/A 6.2L V12 that already makes 575 BHP... running 9PSI is more than enough for 1000RWHP and beyond

9PSI on a bolt on 5.7L V8 pushrod makes around 600RWHP for christ sakes lol

during the ford GT pull you can hear the whine from the eaton so theres no saying that car wasn't on it... and seeing that pull the car is blazing

I've helped to tune a ford GT so I know a little bit of what I'm talking about... that same customer came back and wanted a 3.3L whipple swap...

lol, and IMO the money it takes to TT the ford GT as opposed to just swapping up the supercharger isn't worth it IMO, we got the 3.3L whipple GT to put down very close to 900RWHP after some tweaking and some breather mods (Hard Plastic Intake as the intake hose liked to close up and be a bother under WOT)

depends what you were getting for torque.

They started by upgrade the supercharger - then went to twin turbos - and now are feeding the superchager with the twin turbos. They are getting more torque, both sooner and flatter across the RPM band with this last setup.

I'm certainly no expert on this - just relaying the answers to the questions I asked when they were going through the builds.

well that's another story, I'm just saying that with the money someone going to a turbo setup would be throwing it out the window

the stock eaton on the thing can get a snout swap and make 650RWHP @ 600lbs tq. with about 500 bucks put into it

and with a core swap (about 3 grand) you can run around 17-18PSI and see around 750RWHP @ 680-700lbs tq depending on the tune.. this is the limit IMO because all this power hits you at 2-3K RPM's and just carries you due to the twin screw power delivery

on top of that this is with a 17PSI pulley, the supercharger itself can hold up to a 30PSI pulley if someone wanted, and even with that you are garunteed 0 heat soak worth mentioning

since whipple and kenne bell are at war with creating a powerhouse supercharger for it I can only assume that after these KB 2.8L's and the whipple 3.3L's are out for awhile they will up the game and have another go around with bigger displacement kits

as it sits right now the car will dyno 530-540RWHP stock (the factory specs are quite under rated).... IDK, saying you got 700-800RWHP with 3-4K in mods is a feat IMO, and I doubt you would ever lose a race on the street

what more does one need?

You wouldn't win against him because the bug from hell would time warp into the future. It's too fast...if there is such a thing.

There's a bunch of twin turbo Ford GT's running around now... they are the epitome of American car engineering.

Geez let me know when your runnin this thing. I would love to see it in action. But since these "runs" are in Philly I'm going to guess you don't want to much attention?

No we run at Atco all the time. Almost weekly but we run it with the throttle stop on because we have no cage.
