For the Tri-coat owners out there, are there any brands that are a great match for the factory paint? Or should I order this from the dealership?

I've got a few small chips (one on the front bumper, and a few on door edges) that need to be touched up, so I don't want the more expensive spray can packages.

I can't speak for this color in particular, but I got a bottle of Dark Copper Metallic for my dad's Explorer for under $10 at the dealer IIRC

Tri coat touch up is a pain! Good luck. +1 on paintscratch.com

Don't expect it to look perfect when you are done. Multi-coat paints like that are very difficult to work with. Unless you are really talented, the best you should expect is to not be noticeable on a casual inspection.

And before the LS fanboys get in a tizzy that applies to the multi-coat paints for any brand, not just LS paint. Heh heh heh...

I have tried about every option out there. IMO Motorcraft is the worst match (Mult bottles tried and all dry too dark with a tinge of yellow). Paint scratch is ok - I used the three step process they sell which is not cheap - the key is to just use the smallest amount possible...
