Toyota F*CKS up again! lol

My father in law got the recall notice called the dealership and you know what they said they were to do? WIRE TIE the floor mats to the frame of the seat..... unbeleivable.... He drive an 08 tundra and my mother in law drives an 06 highlander. But any way i see it as the japs tryin to take us out

They must've changed--they were supposed to be removing the driver's side mats.
 
they were the rubber all weather mats but if you watch the video..most the cars running away DON'T HAVE MATS!
 
thats crazy but the whole time i was watching that i was saying put the car in netrual.
 
i was watching something on ABC about this, and people were saying they had this happen without the mats,. they were also saying that these cars are equipped with drive by wire throttle bodies
 
my teacher for ELA drives a 08 corolla sport, her mat stuck the gas pedal, totalled her car, wrapped it around a pole. apparently shes trying to sue toyota or something?
 
Remember when those Audi's would suddenly accelerate in the 80s?
Turned out people were pressing the wrong pedal.
I'm going to bet this is also driver error as well.

And as the Toyota market share continues to increase, the number of crappy driver mistakes will continue to rise as well.
