First run I had TC off, left car in drive, only good launch of the night.
60': 2.23
et: 15.404
mph: 92.7
Second run was the best of the night, worse traction but I manually shifted from 1-2 with TC off
60' 2.34
et: 15.37
mph: 92.9
They got lazy on the track prep and I couldnt hook up at all, and the runs just went downhill from there. The car is a 97 base with the air resonator removed, and has 100k miles.
Also, I had my OD on all night, that shouldnt make a difference should it? I mean it never had a chance to shift into OD.
Now for my big question: This site has pointed me towards a dry kit, but always before I got my lincoln I've heard that wet is better. Another forum I frequent much more often than this told me to go with a wet kit. Now, I can get my hands on a wet NOS kit with a full bottle for around 300 bux, for a while I'll just run an 80 shot until I upgrade the rear end and get a better pump at the same time. Should I go with this or hold out for dry? Is the difference that much?
