I tore two mustang rearends apart for the traction lock and I have a third laying around. The question I have is how many of you guys that have done the same thing have had the diff rebuilt? For those of you that never had them rebuilt, have you had any problems with them? I'm just worried once I have it installed that I only get the one wheel spin! Then I would have to drop it again to have rebuilt.

IIRC it's only like $50 for the rebuild kit with all new clutches and stuff. I bought mine used and rebuilt it with the kit. Makes it good as new.

I have a 92 5.0 posi laying around in the garage and a Motive master 8.8 rebuild kit which I got for $90. Now I just need the time to install it.

problem is that I'm not comfortable rebuilding it myself, heard way too many horror stories. The other thing is that if I get it done I'm only warrantied up to 6 months, a lot of good that's gonna do me if I don't drive it in the winter!
