tranny clunk?

Anyone know why there is a tranny clunk every time I put the car in reverse? Is it the tranny mount or a bushing or what else can it be?

Driveshaft issue?Ujoint.Bushing yes any of the 2 you mentioned as well.Gonna have to get under it to diagnose is the only way

Believe it or not, there is an "anti-clunk spring" in the 4R70W.

i was just reading about bushings on that "thunderbird site" and that was a symptom of the rear carrier bushing worn thru go check it out
