I have a 99 continental. The other day, the bottom line from the radiator to the transmission busted. The car lost a lot of tranny fluid and the tranny started to slip before the busted line was discovered. After replacing the line and adding fluid to the tranny, I hear a noise like a pump that is running dry. The car will go in reverse but moves slow, if shifted to drive from reverse the car will not move, but if the car is turned off in neutral and shifted to drive it will move. after about 100 yards it will stiop as if there is no fluid in the trans. Anyone have any ideas what this could be?
