Transmission Problems

I have a 2000 LS V8 with 90,000 miles. Very good car. replaced all coils about a year ago. I had shifting probems about 1 1/2 years. Rough engagements when shifting from park to reverse and sometimes forward too. And sometimes around 25 to 35 mph the transmissinon stays in a lower gear too long. I just heard about a TSB to reflash my pcm for a possible correction to this problem. Is this reflash usually free or cost? Or should I even worry about it.

i just got my ls out of the shop yesterfay for the same problem, 00 ls8 53000 miles, and all they did was reprogram the pcm and it drives soo much better

I guess I forgot to say that it's an automatic.

yup i just got my ls about a month ago and its beginning to have that same problem anyone know how much it is to get that reprogrammed like "itsnotmydaddys" said he got done
